Spiritual, Moral, Social and Cultural (SMSC) Development at Crabtree Infants’ School
Learners’ Social, Moral, Spiritual, and Cultural (SMSC) development is an integral part of Crabtree Infants’ School. We consider it an essential part of the children’s education, not only for their own wellbeing and growth, but also for society as a whole.
Our aim is to ensure that children:
- Feel valued and value others
- Are able to reflect and behave responsibly
- Are curious about the world and gain an appreciation of diversity
- Have some knowledge of their cultural heritage and learn about the cultural traditions of others
SMSC is embedded in our curriculum and way of life:
